Chicago Events - Tomorrow Never Knows Fest Jan. 2016 Schubas & Lincoln Hall
Tomorrow Never Knows, also known as TNK, a winter concert festival, returns to Chicago, Jan. 13-17, 2016. It’s a mix of about two-dozen acclaimed and up-and-coming indie bands. The series is held on the North Side at the venerated music venues, Schubas, 3159 N. Southport Avenue, and Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Avenue.
This year’s lineup features San Fermin, The Go! Team, Wild Belle and Lady Lamb. Others include Mild High Club, All Them Witches, and Gill Landry. Those on the rise include American Wrestlers, Fee Lion and John Krautner. In the Festival schedule, you’ll find a few comedy shows going on at The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Avenue. The headliner is stand-up comic Bobcat Goldthwait, plus Nick Thune and Hari Kondabolu.
Lincoln Hall is about a 15-minute drive from Best Western Grant Park, and it takes about 30 minutes to get there on the CTA Red Line train. Schubas and the Hideout are about 20 minutes by car, and 40 minutes on the Red Line. A 5-day pass to Tomorrow Never Knows is $100, and it gets you into any of the TNK shows.
