Chicago Dining - 9th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week in January 2016
Foodies, 2016 is off to a delicious start: the 9th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week takes place over two weeks, beginning Friday, Jan. 22 through Thursday, Feb. 4. It’s a fun way to explore Chicago’s amazing food scene as more than 250 restaurants around the city and the Chicago suburbs will be taking part. At the center of Restaurant Week are the prix fixe menus. They start at $22 for lunch, and there’s an option of $33 or $44 menus at dinner. Beverages, tax and gratuities are excluded from the price.
The choices of cuisine literally cover the entire globe—Italian, Spanish, French, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, African, Turkish, Polish and more. Plus, if you have special dietary needs or restrictions—for example, perhaps you’re a devoted vegan—don’t worry because there are lots choices out there for you, too. Guests of Best Western Grant Park will find at least 30 participating restaurants nearby all along Michigan Avenue.
For more information about Chicago Restaurant Week, go the to Eat It Up Chicago website. That’s where you’ll find the most updated list of participating establishments, plus descriptions of their deals. Advance reservations are strongly recommended and can be made on the website or by calling the restaurants of your choice directly.
