Stayed 5 nights 2 ...

Stayed 5 nights 2 adults 2 kids first week of July. Hotel is clean, staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. Location really is great! The free fruit infused water in the lobby is a welcome relief when you come in from a busy and hot day out. Price was also excellent. The downside, rooms are small, no microwave (although there is one in the lobby you're welcome to use). No mini fridge. (They may have them in other rooms, ours did not.) Elevators can be slow and one was not working for a day or so while we were there. Otherwise, it's a nice place at a good price with very helpful staff! It is not a 5 star hotel but it is a perfectly acceptable place to stay!

Great location-can walk to ...

Great location-can walk to many major activities and attractions, restaurants, shopping. Close to Wintrust Arena! In a beautiful area with parks, various playscapes and art displays just across the street. Near lake; my room had beautiful view of lake, Great area for biking. Super welcoming, friendly, efficient staff and hotel manager. Room decor dated and the reason for 4 vs 5 stars, but rooms super clean. Good value! Overnight parking at hotel is steep, but there are several lots nearby that cost about half the hotel rate. Would definitely stay here again.
