First the most important item -- cleanliness. The room was clean and mostly comfortable. I did have some trouble getting used to the bed. One of the shower doors was off-track. The deadbolt lock didn't work. I did see three ants in my ninth floor room during the week I stayed. It all goes to a need for better upkeep. There was a free breakfast buffet, of which the highlight were cold scrambled eggs. Well, you get what you pay for. There are better places nearby for breakfast, if you don't mind paying. There is no cable TV, rather I think they use satellite reception. Half the stations either had no signal or had quite a bit of distortion making them unwatchable. You can't get local stations, so you can't get a local weather report. Daily maid service is only by request. They don't tell you this when you check in.

Great hotel no complaints

Hotel was in a good location. Very close to field museum and shedd aquarium. breakfast was good. Valet service was good. Rooms are a bit old though with very old carpets in elevators and the rooms. Windows had dust on them and the bathroom ceiling had paint coming off. The size of the rooms were not as much as I would have expected looking at the photos. 1 star less only because of the cleanliness.

4 stars only because the room had no bathroom vent, no refrig, no microwave. We stayed in the room to sleep not bunker down in so it didn't matter for this trip however Those are the updates I would recommend. Other than that The room was great, updated, clean, smelled clean. No smoke no mildew. I would definately stay here again! The entire facility was extremely clean and the customer service was awesome. They were not only professional but very kind.
