Buckingham Fountain Chicago: Water, Light, and Music Display in Grant Park
Located in the center of downtown Chicago's Grant Park, the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain is one of the city's most iconic attractions. As one of the largest fountains in the world, it contains nearly 200 jets that circulate 15,000 gallons of water per minute. Visitors of Grant Park marvel at the dazzling water display of this Chicago landmark that occurs for 20 minutes every hour on the hour with jets that shoot water as high as 150 feet into the air. Check out the spectacular light and music display that begins at dusk with the last show starting at 10 pm to see the fountain glow while lighting up Grant Park. The fountain's four Art Deco seahorses represent the four states that touch Lake Michigan - Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.Details
