We stayed for 5 ...

We stayed for 5 nights at this BW Grant Park. The location is probably its most redeeming feature. The rooms can be very noisy . Don't stay on the 9th floor. The air conditioning units are likely on the roof above and it can sound like an airport all night long. Ear plugs or Air Pods are a must. It was hard to get a good night's sleep. Amenities that should be in the room aren't. The condition and cleanliness is quite variable from room to room (we had 2 rooms), so I hope that you get lucky. The front end manager though, Oscar Villasenor, is amazing. But he can't really overcome the issues of an antiquated property. He really tries his best to please. (Honestly, a person as capable as him should be working at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago, not a run down BW). Lastly, having Paris Baguette right there was great, as well as Yolk right around the corner. For $200+ per night, the value was below average, unfortunately.

Nice place to stay. ...

Nice place to stay. My only comment is about the parking. We have a truck and it could not be accommodated in their valet parking. There were no parking restrictions noted on the web. When checking in, the front desk seemed unaware that the valet parking was not available. I was charged the parking fee and didn't find out until 30 minutes later that there was an issue. The hotel could do better in this situation.
