The old real estate saying, “Location, location, location” really plays out at the Best Western Grant Park in Chicago. One quick crosswalk away is beautiful Grant Park, complete with fountains, art, Lake Michigan, and dozens of wonderful doggos getting their evening walk. Within walking distance of the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Soldier Field, Millennium Park and the Cloud Gate (the Bean), and Lakeshore Drive, almost everything is laid out in front of you. If you’d rather ride, two blocks away is the “L” stop for three main lines and connections to others. That connects you to Wrigley Field or Comiskey, the Navy Pier, the United Center, and so much more. So, strictly based on being able to do so much with so little effort, the Best Western Grant Park is definitely the go-to next time a Chicago trip comes up. While the hotel does offer valet parking, the front desk team advised us that it’s easier and cheaper to park nearby. More on that in the advice section.

We absolutely loved the hotel’s location. It’s so close that we hardly needed to use the metro tickets—all of the city’s main sights were within easy walking distance . Whether heading out for breakfast, sightseeing, or dinner, we walked everywhere—it couldn’t have been more convenient. Warm, helpful staff and housekeeping The team at reception and throughout the hotel were welcoming and always ready to assist. Plus our room was cleaned with meticulous attention to detail every day. Food & amenities just around the corner Noise level is noticeable—but manageable One minor drawback: the noise. We could hear sounds from adjacent rooms and the street, which may bother light sleepers. However, we all sleep very soundly, so it didn’t disrupt our rest at all. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

The Best Western Grant Park was a great stay. Not only were they accommodating by allowing us to check in early, but they also upgraded our room complimentary! The staff was extremely nice as well. I was a bit concerned about parking at first, but after arriving, my mind was at ease as the process was extremely seamless. The room was clean and we had a fantastic view!! I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Great place to stay next to soldier field. The rooms are average hotel rooms but the service was great! A bakery and a restaurant downstairs makes it easy to get a quick bite.
