Location is what makes ...

Location is what makes this great, and that’s about it. It’s just a regular motel type experience. Old and noticeably used lobby, elevators, hallways, rooms, amenities, etc. It gets the job done for a higher than average price. The location is the only great part of this spot. Like a 5 min walk to the train (only 7ish stops to the airport), 10 minute walk to the lake. 15 minute walk to the aquarium and soldier field. Nothing to really complain about, nothing to really praise. You get what you get with a Best Western.

Just about ok rooms, ...

Just about ok rooms, no microwave in the rooms. Excellent location, but limited expensive on site parking.

Sehr gute strategische location ...

Sehr gute strategische location für Ausflüge nach Downtown & Chicagoland. U-Bahn um die Ecke. Hotel ist direkt am Park gelegen und schon etwas älter. Eine Renovierung wäre sicher angemessen. Die Lobby ist hell, es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee. Frühstück kann man sich bei der Bäckerei oder einem der Restaurants in der Gegend holen. Rezeption war sehr nett und effizient. Flure und Zimmer haben den Charme der frühen 90er Jahre. Bad ist klein aber ausreichend und gut ausgestattet. Zimmerservice / Reinigung war top. Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist mittelmäßig. Staub auf den Lampen ist deutlich sichtbar. Fenster sind von innen und außen dreckig. Bett ist Ok (mir zu weich, aber i.O). Mein Zimmer zur Michigan Avenue war schon sehr laut. Nicht nur sind die Wände dünn und man hört die Nachbarn und jede Tür auf dem Gang - sondern vor allem die Autos unten auf der Straße und die Nachtrennen.
