An old hotel. Rooms are old, but the location is very convenient.

It is what it ...

It is what it it is and what it is is affordable and a 10 minute walk from Soldier Field, The Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park, and more. The room loses a full star for the most god awful pillows I have ever had the misfortune to try and sleep on. Staff was great though.

General upkeep seems to ...

General upkeep seems to be in need in hallways and elevators. Rooms are quite nice but be prepared for tight quarters in a double room.

The hotel is not ...

The hotel is not the most modern but the rooms are clean and comfortable and a decent size. The location is very good - close to Roosevelt L station and buses, and some good food options nearby by.
