Great place to stay ...

Great place to stay next to soldier field. The rooms are average hotel rooms but the service was great! A bakery and a restaurant downstairs makes it easy to get a quick bite.

Definitely a 2-star budget ...

Definitely a 2-star budget hotel and it shows, but if you come prepared with that knowledge it's as expected. The location and price are unbeatable and the service and staff were great. The room had the regular amenities (mini fridge, TV, coffee, but no microwave) but otherwise left a lot to be desired. Our room was literally on a slant and we had to sleep in the bed backwards to not be on a downslope. The bed itself was a spring mattress sagging in the middle. The HVAC was a wall unit and there was no ventilation and could not open the windows. You could also easily hear neighbors through the walls. I would definitely recommend the hotel for the location, price and service but just know what you're getting into when it comes to the rooms. It may not be for you.

great hotel room, great ...

great hotel room, great price.heating/cooling was good, and the only noise you could hear through the windows was cars honking. you could hear when people were in the shower but only in the bathroom.

Do not expect anything ...

Do not expect anything nice. Was there for the bar exam (Feb 2024). Had to change rooms because the shower faucet just randomly broke. Prior to had to call them for a terrible smell coming from the drains in bathroom. No microwave in room - asked and told only one was in lobby. Fridge in room- yes. Service is really good. They are prompt and nice. Location and price are what gets you to stay here. First room I had was decent. Nice view of park if you looked. Second room overlooked the roof of whatever is below/near the building attached. Another positive that Trader Joe's is super close. In the hotel building there is Paris baguette. This bakery is really good, super convenient and you get a discount if you stay at the hotel. Overall- come with lowered expectations and you'll be ok. At least on the 4th floor. Both rooms are on that floor. I will say due to my reasoning for being in Chicago I was very, very concerned with this hotel based on reviews. If my review is any help- I was there for 5 days and it was ok. I would stay again if in the same situation.
