Little older, rooms simple ...

Little older, rooms simple but alright. Desk staff were very friendly and the location is great.

A moderate priced hotel ...

A moderate priced hotel next to Grant Park and short hop from Museums. If you take Metra or SSL into Chicago & exit at Museum Station, it's only 1 block walk to hotel. But best is the Paris Baguette bakery on 1st floor. Croissants & fruit tortes to die for. Breakfast is a $10 voucher for Mies's restaurant which also is on first floor. Scooters & bike rentals immediately across street in Grant Park. Ideal location for me for concerts & the museums.

I was honestly very ...

I was honestly very impressed with this hotel! We stayed during lollapalooza weekend. The staff was amazing. I truly believe they made all the difference. Everyone was kind and accommodating - from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. The location was also ideal. We were able to catch the train/bus easily. There's also a trader joes nearby to grab snacks/drinks. Bernida (the housekeeping lady) was such a sweetheart. The beds are comfy and the AC was pretty decent considering the humidity. Would definitely stay here again because of how nice everyone was - it truly makes all the difference.
