Let me just preface ...

Let me just preface with saying that i used my hotel points to pay for the room, so i didnt have to worry about paying. If i did have to pay though it would probably be 3 stars. Hotel has a great location and kind staff. The room I stayed in was simple and no frills, which is fine, but some of the anemities could use updating and better maintenance. Room didnt have a fridge and the bathtub drain is clogged and filled up with water whenever I took a shower. The absolutely worst thing was the bed, which was a very uncomfortable spring matress that probably hasnt been changed in like 10+ years. I travel a lot for work and pride myself in being able to sleep anywhere, but this was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed i've slept on in awhile. I hope they can update their rooms soon because if i were paying some of the rates people on here paid for rooms, this would be unacceptable.

Nice place close to ...

Nice place close to the park and aquarium. Room was decent but small. Shower was good. TV big. No microwave or refrigerator in our room. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was great. Parking is tough.

Decent hotel right across ...

Decent hotel right across from Grant park for a good price in an expensive district. Rooms were clean. The site was under construction when we stayed in October so there was lots of noise starting somewhat early weekdays.

The hotel itself is ...

The hotel itself is a little dated but I'd have to say the staff is very friendly,polite and helpful
